Itinerary

Day 01 :

Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Pick up from Airport/Hotel and leave for Masai Mara National Reserve with a short stopover for rest at the Great Rift valley viewpoint. Thereafter, proceed to Masai Mara via Narok town to arrive in good time for lunch and rest at your camp. In the afternoon, you will head for your first game drive in the park tracking the various animal species and birds that inhabit here with your driver guide until sunset.

Day 02 :

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast; leave for a full day game drive carrying picnic lunch: The landscape here is scenic savanna grassland on rolling hills. This reserve is the best park for games in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close-range viewing and photography.

Your game drive will include a visit to the sand River and also the Mara river, which is a point of migration and a place to spot crocodiles and hippopotamuses and break for a picnic. Your game drive will continue till 1700hrs; after which you will get out of the park for two hours of optional activities.

Day 03 :

Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, leave for Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive in good time for lunch and rest. Afternoon game drive in the park: The Park is home to stunning flocks of lesser and Greater Flamingos, which literally turn the lakeshores in to a magnificent pink stretch.

The birdlife here is world-renowned and over 400 bird species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets, and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the White and Black Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe.

Day 04 :

Lake Nakuru National Park – Nairobi

Do an early morning game drive; return to your lodge for full breakfast. Thereafter, leave for Nairobi to arrive in good time to be dropped at the airport for your scheduled return flight.
