A 4-day fly-in safari to Tsavo West National Park offers a fast and comfortable way to explore one of Kenya’s most diverse and scenic wilderness areas. The journey begins with a short scenic flight from Nairobi, landing near the park to maximize time in the wild. Tsavo West is known for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, including the Shetani Lava Flow, and the crystal-clear waters of Mzima Springs, where hippos and crocodiles can be viewed underwater. Arrive in Nairobi, Kenya. Transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli. Upon arrival in Amboseli, you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your luxury tented camp. Enjoy lunch followed by an afternoon game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at your camp.

Today spend the day exploring Tsavo West. Tsavo West is vast and vegetation is thick which makes it more challenging to see the wildlife. Explore the diverse habitat from open savannah grasslands, to ash cones, riverine vegetation and rock outcrops in search of wild animals, reptiles, and birds. Expect to see a lion pride, hippo pods, wildebeests and other exciting game during your morning and afternoon rendezvous. You will also get to visit Mzima Springs whose water in filtered underground from the Chyulu Hills erupts from below a lava ridge into a series of pools so clear that hippos and fish can be seen with ease. There's is also the Shetani Lava which the locals believed that it was the devil himself emerging from the earth. This vast flow of lava that spurted is now an 8km mass of solidified lava, chunks of magma and curving caves. In the evening return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early in the morning for your last game drive, exploring the Tsavo west and in search of predators and grazers. Return to the camp for breakfast, and later you'll be transferred to the airstrip for scheduled return flight to Nairobi. On arrival at the Wilson Airport, you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel/ residence.
