Nairobi National Park is a protected area and a Kenya’s National under Kenya Wildlife Service which is located just around the Capital city of Kenya. Nairobi National Park can be visited throughout the year as wildlife viewing is at its finest and reasonably temperatures year around.

 

Wildlife at Nairobi National Park

Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.

 

Accessibility

Nairobi National Park is located 9km south of Nairobi. The park is usually visited as a half-day or full-day trip from a hotel in the city.
